I m residing at Karachi, I bought Haier 1.5 ton AC on 28th May 2025 and it installed on 29th May 2025.(next day). Two guys came up to install the AC, both of them look like some kind of scamps criminals also their way of talking was very rude.
Anyhow, I showed them the place where I want to install AC. They started to show me the place that AC can be install over here. I told them that this space is of course more convenient but due to some reasons I don’t want to put the outer over here. I want it over there and I have brackets(angles) and please install it over there. They kept on arguing (just because they want their convenience) I told them over n over that I m providing you angles just do as I say.
What they do next. They did not installed inner AC in middle of room instead they installed it at side (saying that 10 ft pipe is not enough infact it can be installed) I ignore that and said “OK” then after finishing the work they charged Rs. 500/ – (I give them away the money as I didn’t wanted to argue knowing that installation is free of cost) but deep in my mind and my 6th sense was saying that there is something wrong.
On 29th AC installed and on 5th June (right after 7 days) it stopped working, no cooling. I tried everyway myself by remote. Then I called on Lahore UAN number and this guy told me to run Self clean etc. and assured me that it will be fine. I run Self clean as he said and AC on 16 temp for 3 hours but it didn’t work next day was Eid and definitely nothing can be done due to Eid.
Sir I made complain on 9th and two guys from Haier Company came up on 10th June to fix and and found that Refrigerant/GAS has been leaked and valve of AC was not FULLY TIGHT OR KEPT LOOSE DELIBERATELY.
Now I m confirmed that those guys did that deliberately. This is really so painful and my family suffered during all 4 to 5 days of Eid Festival regardless of spending huge amount of money on New AC, and what my question is, Is this customer satisfaction they provide. I just told them to install outer at the space of my choice and they put me into trouble for almost a week. Also the Genuine gas of AC has been leaked. Me and my family suffered since 5th June till now. The AC has not fixed yet. Yesterday on 10th they inspected and went away saying that another team will come tomorrow to fix the problem. Today is 11th and so far we are sitting without AC due to those rascals.
My complain is to pick out those guys and at least give them punishment by seizure of salary or cut-off in salary or whatever suits so they never ever do such thing with any other customer. They are really un-professional guys and suffer the customers by their personal grudge.
I hope you consider my complain/ request and punish those guys by investigating the matter as well.
