Subject: Consumer Complaint Under the Sindh Consumer Protection Act 2014 Against ZAR TEX (Private) Limited (Saya Noor)
Respected Sir/Madam,
I, Dr Akshai Kumar, resident of Gulshan Iqbal, Karachi, hereby submit this formal complaint against the following business:

Facts of the Case:
1. On 14 May 2026, I purchased a WP31 140 Green Pret Jacquard suit (Size GL-L) from the above store for Rs. 4,519 (incl. 18% GST), paid via HBL card. FBR Invoice No. 179873FEHO42314629.
2. Upon opening the suit at home, I discovered a clear color mismatch between the dupatta and the suit fabric — a manufacturing defect that renders the product unfit for purpose.
3. The defect was deliberately or negligently concealed at the time of sale. The item was not labeled, displayed, or sold as a defective or discounted piece.
4. Upon returning to the store, the staff member who had conducted the transaction:
a. Refused to exchange or refund the defective item
b. Justified refusal by labeling it a “green belt” or “minor defect” — an admission that the defect exists but was not disclosed
c. Behaved in a rude and dismissive manner toward the complainant
Legal Grounds:
The above conduct constitutes:
• Sale of defective goods without disclosure — violating Section 7 of the Sindh Consumer Protection Act 2014
• Unfair trade practice (non-disclosure of material defect at point of sale)
• Denial of the consumer’s right to remedy (exchange/refund)
Relief Sought:
1. Full refund of Rs. 4,519 OR exchange with a non-defective item
2. Compensation for inconvenience and time
3. Appropriate penalty against the business for unfair trade practice
