I am filing this complaint against Mummy & Mee regarding what I believe is a misleading and unfair online shopping practice.
The business appears to source products from SHEIN and resell them to customers at substantially inflated prices, in some cases at around three times the original retail price. For example, the product I purchased was available on SHEIN for approximately Rs. 1,549, while I was charged approximately Rs. 4,800 for my order before delivery charges.
I understand that resellers may add reasonable margins to account for sourcing, handling, shipping and other costs. However, the significant price difference, combined with the manner in which the products are presented to customers, raises concerns about misleading pricing and lack of transparency.
I believe customers may be led to purchase these products without being aware that they are readily available from SHEIN at considerably lower prices.
I request that this matter be investigated and that the business be asked to clarify its pricing, sourcing and representations to customers. I am also requesting an appropriate resolution/refund for my transaction.
I can provide screenshots of the Mummy & Mee listing, SHEIN listing, order confirmation, payment proof and correspondence with the seller as supporting evidence.
