Dear Managing Director, PTV;
I am resident in UK and follow sports especially cricket religiously as it runs in the veins of any Pakistani.
Yesterday while watching PTV programme on Pakistan’s victory over New Zealand, I was shocked by the way anchorperson Dr. NAUMAN conducted the proceedings in a most outrageous rude and unprofessional manner.
I would like to make a formal complaint to sack him with immediate effect. He is a stigma to our tolerant society by treating Pakistan’s hero Shoaib Akhter on his analysis on Hasir Rauf’s performance. It is unacceptable and punishable offense to bluster in such hostility and aggression to a guest in the panel of foreign cricket superstars presence.
Dr. Nauman’s behaviour has caused huge distress and cannot comprehend that he was allowed to humilate a national cricket hero by his spiteful and aggressive behaviour.
I whole heartedly appreciate Shoaib Akhter’s conducting the situation without losing his calm and control. His demand for Dr. Nauman’s apologies should be upheld.
I believe PTV will take all necessary actions required to address this horrendous behaviour of Dr. Nauman and will not let go in unpunished. He should not be allowed to conduct any PTV programme until fully trained how to act professionally.
