We booked careem car today’s morning from dha. Driver Muhammad Ashraf with blue toyota passo registration number BFC-083 was assigned. We daily take a route from dha to university road and it charges only 300 rs. He intentionally took a longer route instead of going from shaheed e millat expressway, he turned his car towards kala pul and then passed from sindhi muslim to tariq road. He never sped up for a second. Then he made his car stuck at hasan square for almost three times. He charged 620 rupees for the ride.Told him that it’s unfair and unethical to charge this heavy amount despite the fact that it was his mistake of driving at this pace. He said that carwait pe rahi thee na. There was no waiting time at all. He made lame excuses, laughed, and said that this happens usually because traffic is worse in Karachi.
This is extremely unethical behaviour. Charging this much amount on usual routes are terrible. Please check the status of your captains/ drivers who are registered with you .Pleas teach them ethics and discipline first so that don’t give a bad name to your company. Also take serious action against this driver. He made us almost half an hour late by driving at snail’s pace ad only for making money.
