Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to bring to your attention the issue I am facing regarding the non-receipt of my renewed driving license, which was due for delivery after its renewal on July 26, 2023. I have taken the liberty to explain the situation below for your understanding and necessary action.
Upon the renewal of my driving license, I was issued a temporary slip that was valid for only duration of 10 days, which has already expired. I have been closely monitoring the situation, and according to the information provided by the DLS (Driving License Sindh) application, my driving license record has been updated, and it is now valid until 2028.
However, despite the updates in the DLS application records , I have not yet received any latest Consignment number in Tracking , This indicating the dispatch of my renewed Driving License still Pending . This has left me in a challenging position, as the temporary slip provided to me is no longer valid. In the event that I encounter a Traffic Police officer, the temporary slip will not be accepted as a valid driving license, potentially resulting in fines and inconveniences.
I kindly request your assistance in providing me with an official statement or documentation that I can present to Traffic Police officers in case of any such encounters. This statement would serve as evidence of the situation beyond my control and would help prevent any undue penalties due to the delay in the generation and delivery of my renewed driving license.
I understand that administrative processes can sometimes encounter delays, and I remain patient while awaiting the resolution of this matter. I would greatly appreciate your prompt attention to this issue and the provision of the requested official statement, while my license is not delivered which would greatly alleviate the potential issues, I might face with Traffic Police officers.
