I converted my postpaid number (03028268408) to prepaid after which I was expecting refund of my security deposit Rs. 4000/- immediately but mobilink customer care officer(Mr. Furrakh) told me, refund will be given back after two months; makes NO sense. Anyway after two months, I approached customer care service office but I was refunded Rs. 3147/- instead Rs. 4000/- claiming that (27%)tax is charged on your security deposit I asked which tax was that he told me it was sales tax. I once again questioned how this can be a sales when it is merely a security deposit. But he did not have any answer and told me to complaint at where ever I may feel like. Immediately I jot down an application and have that received from the counter and asked for proper statement giving justification of deductions.
Nevertheless, till the time of writing this to you, I have not received any come back.
Please understand this is really not a matter of Rs. 853/- since I’m already tax filer but a matter to bring in your knowledge.
Kindly take up the matter and refund my complete amount.
