i applied for shifting of my land-line and internet on the 30th of October 2019. i was told it will be done in a maximum of 7 days. after 7 days passed i called to complain on 1218 and after explaining to them everything, they said to wait 48 hours and the issue will be resolved in 48 hours as it has been escalated to seniors. 48 hours have passed and nothing happened. so i called again and after again explaining everything was told the same things, and was told to wait 24 hours.
they did not have any information or update for me. they had no clue if the line-man visited the new location, what his comments are, when has he booked in his diary for the resolution of my issue.
i am sure i will be calling again after 24 hours and after again explaining everything will get the same replies, escalated to seniors, issue will be resolved in 24 hours, trust us, we are sorry, i assure you of resolution of your issue soon… and when you ask for details or updates or any information, they say, we are sorry we don’t have that information. then kindly give my number as PTCL helpline, i am sure i can do a much better job… after all, all i have to say is we are sorry for your inconvenience, issue escalated to seniors, give us 48 hours, thank you.
see isn’t that easy.
