I am formally escalating a serious payment issue that occurred while renewing my domain through your official platform.
On the payment page, I selected JazzCash as the payment method (option provided directly on your website). After proceeding, I received an OTP on my registered JazzCash number and entered it on your payment page to complete the transaction.
Following OTP verification, PKR 8,700 was deducted from my JazzCash account. However, the transaction receipt shows that the payment was made to “Publish Private Limited” instead of Hostinger. Your support team has confirmed that Hostinger has not received the payment and my invoice remains unpaid.
This situation raises serious concerns:
The payment was initiated through your official platform.
The OTP was generated and verified during this process.
The amount was successfully deducted from my account.
The payment was redirected to a different merchant without my authorization.
JazzCash customer support has informed me that OTP verification is tied to the payment request generated by the merchant platform. Therefore, if the OTP was issued and verified during the Hostinger checkout process, the payment request originated from your payment integration.
From my perspective, this constitutes either:
A payment gateway misrouting issue, or
A serious security vulnerability within the checkout process.
I request the following immediately:
• A full investigation of this transaction
• Confirmation of the merchant ID used in this payment request
• Clarification as to why the payment was routed to Publish Private Limited
• Immediate refund or adjustment of PKR 8,700
• A formal written explanation of the incident
If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be compelled to formally dispute the transaction through JazzCash and escalate the issue to relevant financial regulatory authorities.
