I went to a TCS centre in Cavalry Ground, Lahore Cantt. Office on Dec.15th, 2021 for sending two parcels to Islamabad through
their sentiments express facilty, the premises was filthy, I pointed this out to the only lady on the counter, which she acknowledged
and said that she has already pointed that out to her higher office.
I was given a brochure to select the items to be ordered, I chose the two items and asked her if the fee mentioned is final, she replied
in the affirmative, I told that it’s a birthday gift and must be delivered by third day which in this case was 17th of dec. 2021.
However when I was presented the bill it was Rs.500.00 extra for each item, when confronted I was told that these are revised charges
and she was unaware of this.
I called TCS on reaching home that they have revised the charges yet the brochure reflect the old price, I was told that it’s not so.
The next evening I went to the same office, there was a different sales person who told me that the lady chose a specific delivery
time which triggered those extra charges, when I told him, the lady told me a different version, he said she was new and was not
aware of that, and that I would be refunded the amount.
I lodged the complaint and was allotted complaint ticket nos. 4928911 and 4928856, I had been following up the matter through
emails and phone calls and was told that my refund is being processed, this day I received a call that there is no refund being
made since I had made a specific delivery time, which I never did, nor that makes sense.
As for cleanliness of the premises, they are least bothered. Above all it took two weeks to reach a decision and after many
follow up mails
I am an expatriate from North America, on a short visit, such matters, may be trivial for them send a wrong vibes for the
country.
