My name is Farrukh Aziz Mobile No. I am serving in Punjab Police District Okara. According to the MOU of IGP Punjab and Daewoo Bus Service, All Police officials have 20% discount on tickets for them and their families. My all documents, copy of official service card, attested certificate issued from Police high authority Okara already submitted in Daewoo Terminal Okara. However when i go to Daewoo Terminal Okara, the ticketing staff Okara terminal is very rude and have bad manners to treat with their customers. Whenever I go to buy tickets across Okara Terminal, the ticketing staff deliberately wastes my time and refuses to give me tickets at discounted rates. Sometimes it is said that you can take your ticket but your family will pay the full payment. Sometimes it is said to give the photocopy of the service card again, if it is not there then the bus gets dropped and I cannot reach Lahore on my scheduled time. Although the staff of Okara terminal can also scan the source card in the computer if they want, but they are deliberately asked to get photocopied from outside so that time is lost and the bus gets dropped. Sometimes it is said that the bus company’s MoU with the Inspector General of Punjab Police has been terminated. When I insist and ask them to show me the letter in which the MoU has been terminated, the Ticketing staff Okara gets rude and Humiliates in front of other passengers which is not acceptable at all. Passengers also have self respect which is constantly being hurt by the Daewoo Ticketing Staff Okara. The card was not accepted and I was told that your wife and child cannot get a discount ticket. If you want to go to Lahore yourself, you can get a discount ticket. On which I insisted, the ticketing staff, whose name I do not know but can recognize when I come forward, insulted me in front of my family and said, “Get out of here. There are no tickets for policemen here.” On. People gathered. I said very patiently and lovingly that it is ok, don’t give discount, Give me 02 tickets at full price because it was necessary for my family to reach Lahore. On which the ticketing staff mistreated me again and said that if you have so much time, go to Lahore in your car. I will not give you a ticket. At the request of the people, the ticketing staff finally gave the tickets. On which I said that I will complain about your behavior to your company. On which the ticketing staff said that you can complain to whoever you want. I also have relations in the company. Nothing can spoil me. Without me, Daewoo Terminal Okara cannot run even a day.
The main reason is that the Okara terminal staff gets a commission per ticket from the bus company, which is not available on the discount ticket, thus reducing their commission. But due to the mistake of the Okara terminal staff, they are being guilty of violating the agreement between the bus company and the Punjab Police. Which is completely wrong and is also causing disrepute to Daewoo bus service. I request the management of Daewoo Bus Service to take action against the ticketing staff of Daewoo Bus Terminal Okara and to transfer such ill-mannered and rude behaviour person from the office of Daewoo Terminal Okara so that the name of the bus company is not tarnished.
