I have applied for the credit card to UBL Bank, Johar Town Lahore Branch (near Expo Centre) at 27-May-2022. I provided the following documents; a Confirmation Letter, 6 months bank statement, 3 attested salary slips. As per policy told by the credit card representative at branch i.e. Asma Shaheen, the credit card would be delivered within 15 days. I received the verification call from UBL about after more than 20 days.
Then the very next week they ask for the latest salary slip (as the month has been changed) and bank statement, which I provided. When I call for the status to the branch next week, they said there is an objection on the salary slip. I talked to the branch manager i.e. Miss Roomina but she said she could not tell the status. I provided the salary slip as per requirements, with the latest bank statement. On 25-Jul-2022, I visit the branch and ask for status of the card. I met the sales officer there i.e. Mr. Bilawal, he said that he will try to approve the case in current week (25-Jul, 29-Jul) and I will receive the card by next week (01-Aug, 05-Aug). Today I went to the branch for status, Miss Asma Shaheen talked with Syed Adnan (manager sales). He said there is an objection about confirmation letter, so I decided to take this case to your kind notice.
It’s been 67 days that I have been applied for the card but looks like they are not even working on it. Please look into the matter and resolve this ASAP!
