It is submitted that I acquired a travel policy no. 2695072146/11/2021 from efu general insurance before traveling abroad. On my arrival to London via flight no. EY 17 on 26.11.2021 I found my baggage was damaged by the airline. I attached pictorial images of the damage done to my case to my insurance provider EFU general insurance to provide immediate compensation for the damaged bag strictly in line with my insurance cover.
Mr. Ubaid Khatri of EFU general insurance first acknowledged my claim on 17.01.2022 and intimated that they are referring the case to thier reinsurers. Later on 22.01.2022 the said gentleman simply stated that luggage damage is not covered under my insurance policy and therefore they will not compensate anything whatsoever where as my insurance policy clearly mentions cover of loss of check-in in baggage. The same is being attached herewith.
