My ATM card issued by HBL was captured in a machine installed in PACE shopping Mall, Main Blvd. Gulberg Lahore in the first week of Jan 2017. When I contact HBL helpline, they told me to visit nearest branch to get the card back. The nearest branch told me to visit Panorama branch and they in turn told me to visit my home branch. The home branch at WAPDA house Lahore told me to call HBL helpline again to report the matter. The helpline promised to deliver the card in a week’s time. After waiting for more than two weeks I again called helpline and they told that the captured card has not reached them and a fresh card would be issued and sent my home address. After a few days I received a call from a TCS courier from Islamabad that he is there to deliver the card at a address which I had already left in 2008. I was in govt service was transferred to Lahore in 2008 and open a new account in HBL WAPDA HOUSE. I informed the courier accordingly. After a few days received aa SMS from HBL with the direction to cantact Helpline as my card was returned undelivered. Then they told me to get my postal address corrected at hom branch. I requested them to do yhd the same through the prescribed application form. Since then I have received at least thrice that my card has been returned undelivered. Every time I requested thd helpline to deliver my card at my postal address and still if has not been done after passage of three months. You can imagine my state of mind after going through all these irritating procedures. The service of HBL is very very poor. Action needs to be taken against the responsibles.
