Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakahtuh,
Recently my mother, Kaneez Fatima, visited Pakistan. Having no funds she tried to withdraw money from her joint account that she had had with my father rahimAllah. As he had passed 5 years ago, my mother was not allowed to withdraw money without my father’s, rahimAllah, death certificate.
My mother returned to the UK just before the coronavirus epidemic.
Last week, she was contacted by Salempur Habib Bank to say that someone had withdrawn 70 lakh rupees from her Pirmahal Habib Bank account. My mother could not withdraw money whilst she was there but now someone has walked in and withdrawn money, how can this be?
