After the expiry of previous ATM Card No.421485136185 issued in my name in respect of A/c # 01560047239401 a new ATM card No.5366190020569477 was issued by HBL on 16.10.2017. On the same date i.e. 16.10.2017 I had requested for activation of the said ATM vide calling from my Cell No.03335358692, after after hectic efforts I was able to contact bank authorities who communicated that activation code will be received by me after 48 hours of the call which did not receive by me. On 23.10.2017 I again called the bank authorities for the purpose and they responded that there is some issue with the recorded cell number and a space is showing between cell numbers therefore I have to contact to the concerned branch i.e. HBL, City Branch, Rawalpindi. On 26.10.2017 I had visited the branch for the purpose, the concerned officer in the branch informed that the activation code will be communicated within 24 hours which was not received till todate. I again applied on 28.10.2017 through same cell number which has been available with the bank for the last many years and I am operating my account number with the HBL for the last 20 years or so.
It is requested that my matter may be resolved on priority and my ATM may be activated as there is no lapse on my part and I have fulfilled all the requirements moreover, necessary rectification in your system may be made to avoid inconvenience by the account holders.
