I went to cashier of HBL GT Road Branch Pabbi District Nowshera KP at 3:15 PM on 25 March 2020 to deposit my Gas & electricity bills. The cashier refused to receive the payment of my bills by saying time was over. When I told him bank time was till 4:30 PM so he should receive payment. Upon that he sarcastically replied that if I accept bills till last hour then I will have to sit till 5:30. When I told him I if he won’t receive payment of my bills I would complain against his behaviour to high ups concerned. To that he very rudely replied that I may happily complain even to state SBP! After that I tried to talk to the manager but he wasn’t in his office. Then another staff member got involved. He asked the cashier to receive payment of my bills and he acted accordingly. Since unprofessional attitude & rude behaviour of the cashier needed its reporting to authority concerned I asked that staff member to give me name of the cashier. He first tried not to give same but on my telling him if he refuses to give me his name even then I will report the issue by writing that I was also refused to be given the cashier’s name. Then he reluctantly told the cashier’s name was Alamgir. Having told the whole unpleasant episode I will appreciate if the cashier concerned be properly treated besides asking the manager to pay more attention to performance and behaviour of his staff.
