My misses B.E student and open account in HBL Sindh, Agriculture University T, jam branch (0084). After completion of BE degree she got admission in 2016 at master at SAU Tandojam branch, this account was activated up to 2018. In 2019 my misses won PhD Chinese scholarship still continue. From 2019 up to now there was no transition due to study period in China. Now she is completing PhD work in Pakistan and her account is inactive in HBL branch. Now we want to re-activate this account. We are ready and willing to provide all required documents for reactive the account. I have visited many times for same purpose, but operation and branch manager only wasting my time and not willing to re-active this account. They have no logical reason for not activating this account. Three times we have visited branch on August 27, 31 and September 3. Every time they said our officer is not available so we don’t know how to reactive this account, The attitude of BM and OM is not according banking laws and some times misbehave. There is no SOP of Covid-19 pandemic has observed during several visits of SAU HBL , no using mask, sanitizer and temperature and banking staff not keeping social distance and mostly seen taking tea and busy discussing with each others. ATM machine shut down without any prior notice to customers and precious time of are wasted due to negligence of bank staff at SAU branch. There is no security system has observed in this branch. They have discriminated behavior with customers specially heavy depositor treated as VIP and ordinary or common depositor negated and misbehave. I have some suggestions to improve the working standard of HBL branch.
1. My wife account including all other in active account should be reactive as soon as possible, if the customer want to reactive the dormant account. This will be increase the creditability and creative confidence on HBL Pakistan. In the competitive banking scenario, otherwise there is in active account holders their friends and relatives compel to shift other bank.
2. It is need to trend all the HBL SAU all the staff according to banking standards in this era of competition.
3. Need to improve behavior of SAU staff specially for the dealing with customers.
4. It is need to followed SOP regarding Covid-19 pandemic, specially using mask, keeping social distance, providing sanitizer, checking temperature, of customer and vaccination certificate.
5. To improve the security system, in the bank,
6. During the fees and salary time are violated mob and crowed are rushed in this branch. This is serious thread to spreading of pandemic. A system should be design for fees collection and salary time.
