SBP frequently instruct commercial Banks to remain open on Saturday as per file attached. Before Eid ul fiter, SBP also instructed commercial Banks to remain open on two Saturdays.
As such the Banks staff is asked to perform extra duties without any compensation, which is unjust and amounts to infringement of human rights.
Commercial Banks are very happy over the situation as their business is augmented without any extra cost.
SBP is requested to instruct commercial Banks to compensate all staff performing exta duties on Saturdays. These instructions should be issued simultaneously along with the attached instructions.
I have drawn attention of SBP towards its very cruel, inhuman and unjust attitude towards employees of the commercial Banks.
