To whom it may concern, I receive weekly payments from my employer via HBL into my account in Bank Alfalah. Every few weeks, they delay my payments, even though the funds are available to them from my employer. This week also, I was supposed to recieve a payment on Wednesday November 9th. I called HBL’s remmittance Department and spoke to a Mr. Jehanzeb, who told me that the payment would be transferred by tomorrow (Thursday). I called them again on Thursday afternoon, and they told me the payment would be transferred by day end on Thursday. I called them again after the day-end on Thursday and they told me that the funs will be transferred by tomorrow (Friday). The same thing repeated on Friday (today). Now they have told me to “wait until Monday”. The reference number for this remmittance is 281475015104308. The amount is of Rs. 55,364.91 I have all these calls with HBL recorded (and can be provided if needed be). They keep giving me the run around without any detailed information on it. The funs are with them, but they are not transferring it to me. They keep doing this (cause a delay of 3-4 days) for absolutely no reason almost after 3-4 successful transfers (without delay). This causes me, as a Bank consumer, a lot of mental trauma, as I don’t have access to my hard earned money.
