Amanullah here, account holder of SCB Pakistan. Last day visited SCB garden town branch Lahore and got a cash deposit token from the machine around 2.30pm, filled the deposit slip and noticed few people including 4 ladies are being served without any token. After 40 min wait, I tried to talk with front desk Mam and she said let me check what is going on there. Front desk Mam asked their employee why you are serving them with out token? Counter representative said ” ladies first”…Then immediately one of lady starts abusing me infront of all people but no one stopped her.
This is unacceptable and shameful behaviour by standard chartered bank Pakistan. I tried to call client center but automatic recording starts and put on hold for 20 minutes, call picked after 20 min and phone agent was rude and he didn’t even ask brach name and city but got a message complaint has been locked.
After one day, got an sms from scb and complaint closed without providing reasonable answer. I tried to contact them via email and got a reply from automatic bot.
I need answer to my questions:
1) what’s the purpose of token machine?
2) Token machines are just for male customers?
Looking forward to hearing from you. Otherwise, I will write to STANDARD CHARTERED BANK GLOBAL HEADQUARTER LONDON.
